Common Questions

How quickly can Ride Transit launch a new operation?
Our 60-day launch framework takes a new operation from contract award to full revenue service. Phases include: contract & planning (Days 1–7), recruitment & hiring (Days 8–21), training & onboarding (Days 22–35), shadow operations (Days 36–50), and revenue service launch (Days 51–60). Expedited timelines may be possible depending on scope.
What is the Master of Contract model?
As Master of Contract, Ride Transit holds the prime agreement with the transit authority and manages a vetted network of regional subcontractors. You get a single point of accountability, unified SLAs, and consolidated reporting — regardless of how many cities the operation spans.
Does Ride Transit provide the vehicles?
Vehicle supply arrangements vary by contract. Ride Transit can operate client-owned or client-leased fleets, or arrange fleet provision depending on the operation type and contract structure. We discuss this in detail during the discovery phase to find the model that works best for your needs.
What service regions does Ride Transit cover?
Ride Transit operates across Ontario and is positioned to expand to any Canadian province through our Master of Contract subcontractor framework. We can mobilize in a new market within 30–60 days using our documented launch process.
What certifications and compliance credentials does Ride Transit hold?
Ride Transit Inc. holds a CVOR certificate in good standing, full WSIB compliance, and is a CBCA member. All drivers hold valid Ontario licences with clean driving abstracts reviewed quarterly. General liability and commercial auto insurance certificates are available on demand. Vulnerable sector screening is applied to all drivers on applicable service types.
Can Ride Transit operate EV fleets?
Yes. Ride Transit is EV-capable and offers first-mile EV operations as a dedicated service. Our EV-certified drivers are trained on charging protocols, range management, and EV-specific vehicle handling. We can also support clients transitioning existing fleets to electric vehicles.
